Who we are is how we see ourselves
Many of us live life, day in and day out, without asking ourselves or reflecting on why we are who we are or do things this way and not another way. We often just assume that is the only option, simply because we do not know better!
And then life throws us lemons, maybe even the same pains and struggles, again and again. We may start to wonder: Why me? Why again? My simple answer is that it is because life wants our attention; it wants us to stop and reflect, look into the mirror, and try to understand what is really happening. Most of the time, the story we tell ourselves over and over again isn't necessarily the truth, but just a story. And as we know, stories can always be told in different ways and from different perspectives.
So it helps to change the question to: «Why does it happen to me, and how can it serve me?»

Models of reality from the past
We grow up in environments and cultures that are priming our model of reality, how we see and understand human life, learning what we can and cannot do, what is possible and what is not, according to social norms, the role models we are surrounded by, their upbringing, and life experiences.
Truth be told, by default, we simply are a product of our ancestors' way of experiencing reality. Frankly, for most of us, this means we unconsciously go through life as if we're still living in the 1950s, 60s, 70s, or even earlier decades. Depending on our age and family roots this "reality" may also be defined by the conditions of living in different times or political systems that no longer represent the reality of our current life.
Topics for personal development
What aspect of your life needs special attention?
Purpose / Career
I feel stuck or may be missing real purpose and want to find more fulfillment and joy.
Vision / Dream
I am not sure about my life vision (anymore) or would like to explore a dream I have.
My emotions & I
I want to understand myself better, learn more about emotions, or deepen how I work with them.
Communication
I want to improve my communication skills or how to express myself authentically.

Personal development as a life path
Born with a curiosity to understand the deeper aspects of life, my search for meaning started when I was a child. Whether it was the interest in ancient civilisations, mystical teachings, magic or crystals, or reading books about I-Ching and mindfulness, I had an inborn tendency to look for answers outside of the box.
Intrinsically knowing that I could be anything I wanted, I first pursued acting and performing arts in London. I let go of that dream for several reasons and ended up working with high-level corporate management in my 20s living the life of someone much older. I went to the Peruvian jungle for insights, found them and still burned out. I arrived in my 30s to understand it was time to press the reset button once again. And the journey continued...
I’ve walked through several phases of change, crisis, and self-understanding and -reinvention. And I am here now to walk with you— with a torch and backpack full of tools, as a guide and companion on your path.
Counseling and mentoring for personal development
When we seek fulfillment beyond society's blueprint or choose to walk life's path off the beaten track, we often find little encouragement or guidance on how to navigate its unique topics and challenges. Support and guidance from a mentor with embodied experience can be a game changer. Below are a few common questions clients bring into a personal development session:
Am I not too old?
We're only too old for change when we're dead. This belief is often rooted in a common cultural narrative that, at a certain age, we should settle.
Is this unrealistic?
Our ideas and wishes may feel scary, but most are far from unrealistic – quite the opposite. Besides, how do we know what's possible if we don't try?
How to know what I want?
We grow up needing to fit into family, school, society, work and more. So it is completely normal to loose touch with what we truly want.
I really want change, how can I get myself there?
We are complex beings, and intentional change requires understanding the interplay of our key inner parts.
How can I manage my emotions?
Despite all we learn in school, the basics of being human—like understanding and working with our emotions—are often left out.
How can I understand myself?
Being human and understanding our internal system isn’t something we’re taught in school—but it can absolutely be learned.
Am I allowed to...?
Because of our upbringing and cultural conditioning, we often struggle to give ourselves permission to pursue what we long for or dream about.
Can I really be honest?
Whether it's a fear of disappointing others or simply a desire to fit in, we often struggle to speak our truth – even to ourselves.
Is this not too risky?
The question is: what is truly at stake? And what reference point are we using to calculate that risk?
Personal development with a holistic approach
Personal growth involves the whole self. My approach is holistic, integrating psychology, neuroscience, mindfulness, consciousness research, emotional intelligence, trauma understanding, and embodiment practices.
Mind
Thoughts shape our reality, changing our mindset helps.
Body
For every change in life the body needs to be on board.
Emotion
Understanding how emotions are made and their message.
Personal growth and development can be approached from many angles and at various levels. Viewing each human as a complex system has proven to be the most effective way to work holistically and apply a multi-dimensional approach to inspire the desired change.
Self-Image & Embodiment
The relationship with ourselves affects how we relate to others.
Environments
Understanding others' logic helps you stay grounded in your own.
Experiences
Even when it is in the past, it most likely influences the present.
